Monica Silverstrand- Been there, Done that
As a singer, Monica has a very strong foundation. When she was still a teenager she was lead singer in the Swedish pop band, Wizex. Since that time Monica has sung everything from folk songs to jazz, musical theatre, soul and rock. On three separate occasions she has competed in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest and has been cast in musicals such as Fame and Kristina från Duvemåla, the latter written by former Abba members, Benny Andersson/Björn Ulvaeus. Monica has also lent her voice to the Swedish versions of many animated Disney films.
After all this, Monica has found a home in country music:
